I call them my dojo shoes you guys may know them as Toms. Everytime I slip them on I get the urge to do a high kick Bruce lee style. There is a deeper story behind these shoes.
TOMS Shoes is an American footwear company that is based in Santa Monica, California, which also operates a non-profit subsidiary, Friends of TOMS. The company was founded in 2006 by Blake Mycoskie, an entrepeneur from Arlington, Texas. The company designs and sells lightweight shoes based on the Argentine alpargata design. With every pair sold, TOMS donates a new pair of shoes to a child in need.

Big steps by Nike Jordan. Looking at these pretty fresh kicks, it is safe to say this will be another sell-out in the stores this upcoming March. Although the speckles aren’t a usual style by the Jordan crew, they do add a twist that is pretty passable and makes these Jordan VIs pretty original. Look out for these kicks this March; I am pretty sure there will be a long line outside of sneaker store for these.

Look out all my Bill Cosby fans, Nike SB is releasing a pair of Dunks in the Cosby Shows honor. Although the color-way is pretty flashy, it definitely represents the style of Dr. Cosby’s fly ass sweaters. These kicks are set to release sometime in this new year and they appear to be a hit. I am glad to see Dunks making this step and representing the intriguing style of Clifford Hustable.

The hype, the myth and the shoe. The Space Jam 11′s retroed for the first time last night! After arriving on 34st I started to think to myself is it worth standing online until the break of dawn for sneakers but then again its the Space Jam’s. It was a great experience from people randomly asking questions to the sneakerhead conversations going on around me. After awhile I started getting frustrating due to the fact people began to skip the line because they were ticket holders and the temperature was decreasing slowly.
It was 1,2,3 and done the purchase was made. I decided to go in Macy’s afterwards to warm up and take a look at the sneaker to see the modifications made. Some major differences from the OG 11′s such as the button of the shoe color way or the regular logo on the tongue but I figured I had to deal with it. I don’t know when is the last time I brought sneakers but there wasn’t even a Jordan card in the box times have changed since High School. On that note I have to bid farewell to the sneaker culture! I have been collecting sneakers for a while now but it time to say goodbye.
