Late Night Flick: Death Wish II

Last night after an eventful day of soccer, work and just jonesing SoulofMischeif(Mike) and I decided to kick up and watch a few playoff games. While channel surfing we found stumbled upon AMC showing Death Wish II. Playoff games were placed on hold to watch Charles Bronson create a barrage of round house kicks and swift gun battles.

Architect Paul Kersey once again becomes a vigilante when he tries to find the five street punks who murdered his daughter and housekeeper, this time on the dark streets of Los Angeles.

More brutal than the first one and the violence is cracked up a notch with action scenes similar to western gun fights. It made Los Angeles of the early 80s a scary place visually. I have only seen these two I haven’t had the chance to watch the third and fourth sequel. Charles Bronson is alway a pleasure to watch on screen and some of his best work was from the 70’s and early 80’s.
