Live From The Underground: Little Brother

Talk about being ahead of the game. One of the most celebrated indie albums of the early 2000s, The Listening stitched together by North Carolinian trio Little Brother. The album received comparisons to A Tribe Called Quest and a landed the trio a major label deal with Atlantic. An accessible mix of 9th Wonder’s soulful production and everyman concerns slickly outlined by emcees Phonte and Big Pooh, Little Brother – The Listening delivered progressive hip-hop without pretension, a feat that struck a chord with listeners across the country.

Of course it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t give you some new flavor too. Moruf the Jersey word slinger and Iman Omari one of my favorite producer’s ever decided to bring you happiness with their new project Euphoria vibe with it.
